PM Shehbaz Sharif Leaves for Two-Day Official Visit to Turkiye

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has started a two-day official visit to Turkiye, following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The visit began on Tuesday and is focused on strengthening the relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye.

He is accompanied by a high-level delegation, which includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi. The presence of these senior officials shows the importance Pakistan places on building stronger ties with Turkiye.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif will hold meetings with President Erdogan to talk about different aspects of the partnership between the two countries. They are expected to discuss ways to boost cooperation in various areas, including trade, investment, and defense. They will also share their views on important recent events and challenges in the region and the world.

This visit highlights the close and long-standing friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye, and both countries are looking forward to working together even more closely in the future.
