Pakistan opened its Asian Games 2026 volleyball campaign with a 3-1 victory over Kazakhstan in their Pool A match. Murad Khan was the standout performer, contributing 21 points as Pakistan secured the win across four sets.
In squash, Noor Zaman claimed third place in the men’s singles after defeating fellow Pakistani Mohammad Ashab Irfan 3-0 in the bronze-medal playoff. Both players had already secured bronze medals by reaching the semi-finals.
The two squash medals increased Pakistan’s Asian Games tally to four bronze medals. Pakistan’s volleyball team will next take on Uzbekistan on Monday as its campaign continues.
