Pakistan Army Fulfils Wish of Terminally Sick Child in Karachi

The Pakistan Army made a young boy’s dream come true by inviting him to spend a day as an honorary officer. Usman Aqeel, a brave child from Karachi who is fighting a rare illness, had always wished to become a part of the Pakistan Army.

To fulfill this heartfelt wish, the Army invited Usman to visit the Corps Headquarters in Karachi. He was warmly received by Karachi Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Owais Dastgir.

The general praised Usman’s courage and strong will, and to honor him, presented him with symbolic captain’s ranks. These ranks were proudly placed on his shoulders by his mother, making the moment even more special.

During his visit, Usman took part in different military training activities and got a closer look at how the Army works. He seemed very happy and excited to experience a day in the life of an Army officer. Usman shared how much he respects the Pakistan Army and how proud he felt to wear the uniform, even for a day.
