Pakistani students and professionals now have a golden chance to build their careers in Japan through a fully funded internship program backed by the Japanese government.
Applications are open for the Japan Internship Program (JIP) 2025, which is designed to connect people from developing countries with real working environments in Japanese companies. This program is not just about gaining work experience—it also allows participants to learn about Japanese culture, business practices, and global career standards.
The internship is aimed at young individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 who are either studying or have already completed their education. Applicants must live outside Japan and should be citizens of countries on the OECD/DAC list (except China). Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
There are two types of internships: online and in-person. Online interns will receive a daily allowance of ¥1,000, while those selected for in-person placements will receive ¥3,000 per day, in addition to airfare, housing, visa support, and daily living expenses.
Participants will work closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Japan, gaining practical knowledge and improving their understanding of international business. Training in Japanese communication and workplace manners is also part of the program.
One of the best parts? It’s completely free for selected applicants.
Deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.
Pakistanis who meet the criteria and are ready to take on a new global challenge are encouraged to apply and experience Japan through this exciting opportunity.
