Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, has said that Pakistan has always preferred peace over war. He shared these thoughts while speaking to students of the Saylani IT Program in Karachi, where he was warmly welcomed by the audience.
During his talk, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif highlighted the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, calling it a victory for peace and stability in the country. He said that this achievement reflects Pakistan’s strong desire to maintain peace, even while defending its national interests.
He also spoke about the importance of national security and answered several questions from the students, who showed great interest in the discussion. His honest and open responses helped the young audience understand the challenges faced by the country and the efforts being made to overcome them.
The DG ISPR stressed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to protecting the country, but their first priority will always be peace and dialogue. He encouraged the youth to stay informed, work hard, and play their role in building a peaceful and successful Pakistan.
