There’s good news for Pakistanis dreaming of working and living in Europe. Spain, one of the world’s top tourist spots, has introduced an affordable Digital Nomad Visa that costs only around Rs. 21,500.
This new visa is part of Spain’s plan to attract skilled people from around the world who can work from anywhere. With this visa, Pakistanis can stay in Spain for up to one year while working online for companies based outside the country. The visa can also be renewed if certain conditions are met.
Unlike traditional work permits, the Digital Nomad Visa is quicker, cheaper, and much easier to get. Spain’s government hopes this step will bring fresh talent, new ideas, and more economic activity to the country.
To apply, Pakistanis must prove that they earn at least 80% of their income from clients or employers based outside Spain. They also need to show that they have worked with these clients for at least three months and that their company or business has been running for at least one year.
Those who qualify can apply either from Pakistan or while already in Spain on a tourist visa. Successful applicants can even bring their families along if they meet the income requirements.
