The application process for the Government Hajj Scheme 2026 has officially ended, and a total of 118,060 people from across Pakistan submitted their forms.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, this year’s applications were collected much faster than in previous years. The forms were submitted through online platforms as well as designated banks, and the process worked on a first-come, first-served basis. In just 17 days, the entire quota was filled, showing the high level of interest among people wishing to perform Hajj.
Applicants were able to choose between short and long-duration Hajj packages. At the time of applying, they were required to deposit half of the total expenses in advance, while the remaining amount will be paid later.
Now that the application phase is complete, the authorities will begin verifying the submitted forms to make sure everything is accurate. Once this step is finished, successful applicants will be informed and given detailed instructions about the next stages of preparation.
With the process moving at such a quick pace, the arrangements for Hajj 2026 are expected to progress smoothly and efficiently, allowing pilgrims to prepare for their journey to the holy cities of Makkah and Madina with greater ease.
