Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Chairman of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority, indicated that clusters of technology institutes would be developed around the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) being built under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
“Preparing youth for jobs in CPEC projects is our top goal under (the) comprehensive plan,” Bajwa said in a tweet, adding that the institutes would provide skill training to the youth. “Gwadar Technical Institute, which will cater to new industry in the free zone, is rapidly developing,” he explained.
