Qatar Offers Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis, Here are the Requirements

Pakistani travelers planning to visit Qatar can now enjoy the convenience of a 30-day visa on arrival provided they meet specific entry conditions. The initiative is aimed at making travel easier while ensuring proper safety and documentation requirements.

To qualify, passengers must carry a passport that remains valid for at least six months. They also need to show proof of onward or return travel along with sufficient funds to cover their stay. One of the key conditions is having a hotel booking through the official Discover Qatar website with at least a two-night reservation.

Health safety has also been emphasized. Visitors are required to purchase travel health insurance before arrival and must carry a valid polio vaccination certificate which is mandatory for travelers coming from Pakistan. These measures are in place to safeguard both residents and guests in the country.

Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, visitors must first approach the Discover Qatar desk before heading to immigration.

Here, officials will check and stamp the traveler’s documents, including the hotel booking, health insurance, and vaccination certificate. After this step, passengers can proceed to immigration counters for their entry visa where standard checks such as biometrics and eye scans will be completed.

This streamlined visa-on-arrival facility is seen as a welcoming gesture by Qatar, especially for Pakistani tourists, business travelers and transit passengers.

With clear requirements and a straightforward airport process, the country aims to encourage more travelers from Pakistan while ensuring compliance with international travel standards.
