How to Easily Check E-Challan in Karachi – Step-by-Step Guide

The Karachi Traffic Police have officially launched a mobile application under the modern and automated TRACS system, designed to issue e-challans for traffic violations. This app aims to make the process easier, faster, and more transparent for citizens.

Users can download the TRACS for Citizens mobile app directly from the Sindh Police website

STEP 1:

Visit the Sindh Police’s official website first

www.sindhpolice.gov.pk

STEP 2:

Click “ONLINE PUBLIC SERVICE” once the website has opened.

STEP 3:

After that, a new tab with various services will appear. Select “Faceless E-Ticketing.”

STEP 4:

Once you click the button, you will get the option to download the “Tracs 4 Citizens” App

STEP 5:

Once downloaded, users must complete a quick registration process by providing basic information such as:

  • Full Name
  • CNIC Number
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address

Once you have registered, you will receive an OTP on your Mobile Number or your email.

STEP 6:

After registration and login, the app dashboard displays two main sections at the top, one showing the number of vehicles registered under your name, and the other displaying your demerit points.

Below this, you’ll find detailed information for each vehicle, including registration data. The e-Challan tab allows users to view traffic violations, including images and details of the offence, if a fine has been issued.

Additionally, users will receive notifications and messages directly within the app for warnings or e-challans issued by the traffic police.

The app also includes options for submitting feedback, suggestions, or complaints to the authorities.

The Karachi Traffic Police have warned citizens to beware of fake messages or e-challans sent from regular mobile numbers, clarifying that all official e-challans are generated only through the TRACS system.

Currently, 1,076 surveillance cameras are operational across the city under this system, monitoring traffic and automatically issuing e-challans.

Citizens are urged to follow traffic rules, drive responsibly, and help create a safer, law-abiding Karachi.
