Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health. Age and educational requirements are as follows:
- Master’s applicants: bachelor’s degree holders under 35
- PhD applicants: master’s degree holders under 40
Language requirements vary depending on the program:
- Chinese-taught programs require HSK Level 5 (score ≥180), with a one-year language program if HSK 3 or 4
- English-taught programs accept IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 90, Duolingo 105; GRE is recommended but optional

Application Process
The application period opened on November 1, 2025, and operates in three batches:
- 1st Batch: December 10, 2025
- 2nd Batch: January 10, 2026
- 3rd Batch: February 28, 2026
Applications must be submitted on both the Beihang University system and the CSC Scholarship system, with all required documents uploaded, including academic transcripts, language certificates, acceptance letters from supervisors, study plans, recommendation letters, research proof, and other supporting documents.
Applicants will undergo a document review, preliminary interview, and academic interview online via Zoom or Tencent Meeting. Final selection is made by CSC after recommendation by Beihang University.
