Indian Air Force personnel made a friendly visit to Pakistan’s pavilion at the Dubai Airshow 2025, where they showed keen interest in the JF-17 Thunder fighter jet.
The Indian officers were warmly welcomed by Pakistani Air Force pilots and officials. They spent time examining the aircraft and took photographs with the JF-17 Thunder, which has become one of the main attractions at the airshow.
In a lighthearted gesture, Pakistani officials offered to serve tea to their Indian guests, saying, “Let us make you some tea.” However, the Indian team politely declined and requested water instead.
The tea reference holds special significance between the two countries, as it relates to a 2019 incident when an Indian pilot was captured in Pakistan and offered tea during his detention.
Photos of Indian pilots posing alongside the JF-17 Thunder quickly spread across social media platforms, generating significant attention and discussion online. Many users highlighted the professional interaction between the two air forces at the international event.
The Dubai Airshow serves as a neutral platform where military professionals from different nations can meet and exchange knowledge about aviation technology. This year’s event demonstrated that despite political tensions, military personnel from both countries can engage respectfully at international forums.
The visit showcased rare cordial moments between the two neighboring nations’ armed forces.
