The Jeddah Tower has now reached 80 completed floors, bringing it closer to becoming the tallest building in the world.
Once finished, the tower is expected to exceed 1,000 meters (3,280 feet), surpassing Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, which stands at 828 meters. Construction is scheduled to be completed by 2028, marking a major milestone in global architecture.
Work on the tower faced delays in the past due to economic challenges and geopolitical issues. However, construction picked up pace in 2025, showing renewed progress toward its ambitious goal.
The Jeddah Tower is designed as a mixed-use skyscraper, featuring a luxury hotel, residential apartments, office spaces, and the world’s highest observation deck. Visitors will be able to experience breathtaking views, made accessible by 59 state-of-the-art elevators, ensuring smooth and efficient movement across the tower’s vast height.
