Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has clarified that the sons of Imran Khan, Kasim and Sulaiman, are Pakistani citizens and therefore do not require visas to enter the country. He stated that both children can travel using their NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis), but they are expected to adhere to all local laws and regulations during their stay.
This statement came after Jemima Goldsmith publicly appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow her sons to meet their father. The issue has attracted significant public attention amid ongoing legal and political developments involving Imran Khan.
Tarar also confirmed that arrangements are being made for a phone conversation between Imran Khan and his sons on Eid, providing a temporary way for them to communicate. The matter continues to be closely followed by the public and media alike.
