The Federal Board of Revenue has announced 280 vacancies for the post of Goods Evaluator as part of its latest recruitment drive for 2026. The hiring process is being conducted through the Institute of Business Administration Karachi, offering employment opportunities to qualified candidates from across Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
According to the announced details, candidates with at least 16 years of education in disciplines including engineering, information technology, finance, economics, accounting, statistics, law, chemistry, and business studies are eligible to apply. Applicants must meet the required educational standards from recognized universities and institutions.
The maximum age limit for candidates is 30 years. Officials stated that the selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis with competitive salary packages and performance-based renewals.
Province-Wise Distribution of Vacancies
The vacancies have been distributed under the federal quota system to ensure representation from all provinces and regions of the country. Punjab has received the highest number of seats, while positions have also been allocated for Sindh Urban, Sindh Rural, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Ex-FATA, and open merit candidates.
Authorities said the recruitment campaign aims to strengthen customs assessment and revenue management operations by hiring technically qualified professionals for the department.
Recruitment Process and Test Centers
Candidates will be required to submit online applications and appear in a written examination that is expected to be conducted in major cities including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar. Only shortlisted applicants will proceed to the next stages of the recruitment process.
Officials further stated that applicants must carefully complete the online application process and submit all required documents before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
