The government has announced a reduction in fuel prices, cutting petrol rates by Rs. 4 per litre. Following the revision, the new petrol price has been set at Rs. 373.78 per litre, offering some relief to consumers amid ongoing cost-of-living pressures.
In a similar adjustment, the price of diesel has also been reduced by Rs. 2 per litre, bringing it down to Rs. 378.78 per litre. The decision reflects recent changes in international oil prices and domestic pricing calculations, with authorities continuing to adjust rates in line with global market trends.
