At the China-South Asia Expo, a Pakistani handmade shoe stall drew huge crowds. Groups of Chinese ladies flocked here to shop for the uniquely styled footwear.
All shoes are handcrafted with distinct Pakistani ethnic features. Many customers bought five or six pairs at a time. They love the stylish, lightweight and practical designs, which are rarely seen locally. Some are returning regulars, while others came after learning about the stall online.
Now more Chinese people favor distinctive handmade goods. Undoubtedly, Pakistani handmade shoes will become a new growth driver for exports.
