Made-in-Pakistan! Zyp’s Electric Bikes Crossed 3 Million Kilometers on Roads

Pakistan’s homegrown electric motorcycle manufacturer, Zyp Technologies, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 3 million emission-free kilometers, highlighting the growing adoption of sustainable transportation solutions in the country.

The achievement reflects the increasing reliability and efficiency of locally developed electric mobility technology as more organizations transition away from conventional petrol-powered vehicles.

The company’s growth has accelerated considerably over time. While reaching the first one million emission-free kilometers took approximately 15 months, the second million was completed in just seven months.

The latest one million kilometers were achieved in only three months, demonstrating the rapid expansion of Zyp Technologies’ electric vehicle operations and the rising confidence in its products.

A major contribution to this milestone came from the fleet operating at Chughtai Lab, where several of Zyp’s electric motorcycles have accumulated exceptionally high mileage in daily commercial use.

Three of the company’s electric bikes have each exceeded 100,000 kilometers, while the remaining motorcycles in the fleet have recorded between 70,000 and 92,000 kilometers, showcasing their durability and long-term performance under demanding conditions.

Equipped with an innovative one-minute battery swapping system, Zyp Technologies’ electric motorcycles are designed to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

The company says its growing fleet continues to demonstrate that locally manufactured electric bikes are a dependable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petrol-powered motorcycles, supporting Pakistan’s broader transition toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation.
