Iranian President expressed gratitude to Pakistani Prime Minister for attending the funeral of the late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Iranian president said Pakistan’s gesture reflected the close relationship between the two neighboring countries and added, “We will not forget this support,” describing the visit as a symbol of solidarity during a difficult time for Iran.
President Pezeshkian also reaffirmed the enduring bond between Iran and Pakistan, emphasizing that the two nations share deep historical, cultural, and religious ties.
He said Iran values Pakistan’s continued support and expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation and friendship would continue to grow in the years ahead.
