During their recent official visit to China, Chinese officials presented special symbolic gifts to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to reports, PM Shehbaz Sharif received a model rocket, while Deputy PM Ishaq Dar was gifted a fine leather belt. These gifts were exchanged as part of the traditional diplomatic custom between the two friendly countries.
The gift-giving took place during high-level meetings focused on strengthening the Pakistan-China relationship. Both sides discussed important topics including trade, investment, infrastructure projects, and better regional connectivity under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The model rocket gifted to PM Shehbaz is seen as a symbol of China’s advanced space and technology progress, while the leather belt given to Ishaq Dar represents traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
Both countries are working together to boost economic cooperation and create new opportunities for development and prosperity in the region.
