Driver Escapes Without Paying for PKR 23,000 Fuel at a Petrol Pump in Lahore

A strange and bold incident took place at a petrol pump in Lahore’s Bahria Town area. A car driver filled his vehicle with fuel worth Rs 23,000 and then drove away without paying.

According to reports and videos circulating on social media, the man arrived at the station and asked the staff to fill the tank. Once the fuel was pumped in, he simply started the car and left without settling the bill. The pump workers were left shocked and helpless as the vehicle disappeared from the premises.

The unpaid amount of Rs 23,000 is quite large for a single fill-up. The incident quickly went viral after people shared CCTV or mobile footage of the event. Many online users expressed surprise and called for better security at fuel stations.

Local police have been informed about the matter. Authorities are expected to review the available video evidence and try to identify the driver and the vehicle. So far, no official statement has confirmed whether the person has been caught.

This case has started a discussion about safety measures at petrol pumps across the city. Some people suggested installing automatic barriers that only open after payment, while others said staff should be more careful before allowing cars to leave
