iCAUR Has Landed in Pakistan. Take a Look!

Pakistan may have just got its first glimpse of a new automotive brand before its official arrival was even announced.

Pictures circulating on social media appear to show two striking SUVs being unloaded from shipping containers in Pakistan. The vehicles? None other than the iCAUR V23 and V27, marking the first reported arrival of the global new-energy brand on Pakistani soil.

While the official launch is still to come, the images have already sparked curiosity around a brand that is rapidly building a presence across international automotive markets.

iCAUR is a global new-energy automotive brand under Chery International, developed around a combination of distinctive SUV design, electric mobility and adventure-oriented capability. Since its global debut in 2025, the brand has moved quickly into international markets, establishing a presence across more than 40 countries and regions.

Its growing footprint includes markets such as Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Nepal, South Africa, the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, among others. The V23 has particularly attracted attention in Southeast Asia, while the V27 has been making its presence felt across Middle Eastern markets. And now, Pakistan appears to be next.

Bringing iCAUR to the country is Nishat Group, one of Pakistan’s most prominent business groups and a name already deeply established in the automotive sector. Nishat has previously played a key role in introducing international automotive brands to Pakistan, including Hyundai, while its partnership with Chery International brought OMODA & JAECOO to the local market in 2025. The latter has already crossed the significant milestone of 10,000 locally assembled vehicles.

iCAUR represents another, very different proposition.

The V23 is a fully electric SUV with a distinctive boxy silhouette, designed to combine individuality with urban adventure. The D segment SUV, the V27, meanwhile, is a range-extended electric SUV built around a more expansive interpretation of adventure and capability. Both vehicles carry the tagline on themselves at various spots: Born to Play.

Interestingly, the brand’s first appearance in Pakistan hasn’t come through a showroom unveiling or a formal launch event.

It has come through a few apparently premature photographs of vehicles emerging from containers and being transported as testing units. And now that the secret is out, one question remains: When does Pakistan get to play?
