Travellers between Pakistan and the United Kingdom will have more direct flight options from October 27, as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plans to increase its London service to seven flights a week.
The airline currently operates four weekly flights to London. Under the new schedule, PIA will add three more flights, bringing the total to seven each week. Five flights will operate from Islamabad, while two will depart from Lahore.
The increase comes as PIA sees continued demand for travel between Pakistan and the UK. London is an important international route for the airline, particularly because of the large Pakistani community living in Britain.
PIA restarted direct flights to London in March 2026 after a long suspension. The UK had previously restricted Pakistani airlines following aviation safety concerns, but Pakistan was removed from the UK’s Air Safety List in July 2025.
