The federal government has reduced petrol prices by Rs2.27 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs389.03 per litre. High-speed diesel has also been cut by Rs3.56, taking its price down to Rs404.97 per litre.
The revised prices will take effect from September 29, 2026, and remain applicable until the next scheduled review. The adjustment comes as authorities assess changes in international oil prices and related costs.
According to the Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority revised the prices after considering international market rates, petroleum premiums and other associated costs. The new rates will apply nationwide from September 29.
