The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has secured the prestigious ASOCIO Digital Government Award 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, marking international recognition for the province’s ongoing efforts to strengthen digital governance and improve citizen-focused public services through technology.
The award recognises KPITB’s initiatives aimed at making government services more accessible, transparent, integrated and efficient.
Through the use of digital platforms and technology-driven solutions, the organisation has been working to simplify public service delivery while improving connectivity between citizens and government institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The achievement is also aligned with the province’s Good Governance Roadmap and Digital KP Vision 2030, which focus on accelerating digital transformation and introducing technology-based solutions across different areas of public administration.
The initiatives seek to create more efficient government processes and enhance the overall experience of citizens accessing public services.
Presented by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), the Digital Government Award recognises organisations that demonstrate innovation and excellence in the use of information and communication technology for public service delivery.
KPITB’s recognition places Khyber Pakhtunkhwa among organisations being acknowledged for their efforts in advancing digital government and technology-led public sector transformation.
