Portugal’s football federation has suspended Cristiano Ronaldo and launched disciplinary proceedings after he reportedly left the national team without justification.
The case has been referred to the federation’s disciplinary investigation committee, with findings to remain confidential until the investigation concludes.
The 41-year-old reportedly clashed with coach Jorge Jesus over limited playing time. Federation rules allow suspensions of one to six months and fines for unjustified departures from national team duty.
