10 New Islamabad Police Armoured Vehicles Handed Over to KP Police: Mohsin Naqvi

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that 10 newly acquired armoured personnel carriers (APCs) belonging to the Islamabad Police have been transferred to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on the prime minister’s instructions.

The decision was taken amid growing security concerns and an increase in terrorist incidents across the province. The vehicles are intended to strengthen the operational capabilities of KP Police and provide additional protection to personnel involved in high-risk counterterrorism operations.

Naqvi said the fight against terrorism is a shared national responsibility and stressed the importance of cooperation between federal and provincial authorities.

He reaffirmed that the federal government stands firmly alongside KP Police and will provide every possible support to eliminate terrorism and protect citizens.

The transfer reflects the government’s efforts to reinforce security arrangements and assist law enforcement agencies working to restore and maintain peace across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
