Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has encouraged residents facing financial difficulties and struggling to afford food and other basic necessities to seek support through the provincial government’s “Maryam Ko Batayn” initiative.
The programme provides a channel for eligible individuals and families to request assistance by contacting the government’s helpline at 1000, according to official Punjab government information.
The initiative is designed to help financially vulnerable households manage essential expenses during difficult circumstances. In addition to requests for financial support, the programme also provides a way for residents to seek assistance with medical emergencies and other welfare-related needs.
Through this initiative, the Punjab government aims to connect deserving families with available support and provide a mechanism for people experiencing financial hardship to communicate their needs to the relevant authorities.
