One day, the newly appointed Chairman of the Cricket Board (PCB of Pakistan) Ramiz Raja asked the players to channel Frustration into their performance one day after the Black Caps dropped their Pakistan Tour.
The Chairman of PCB remarked in a video message: “Release your aggravation and fury by directing them to your performance.”
Ramiz Raja advised the nation, “The Pakistanis have much resilience and strength.” Once you are a world-class squad, people start playing, he added.
“Everyone’s going to want to play against you. I want us to learn, go on and maintain our strength from this. You don’t have to be disappointed.”
He said he realized that Pakistan was under pressure from international and local crickets. “But we will do everything we can and soon excellent news and outcomes will be heard.” He added the cricket team must now become a world-class team so it can easily overcome those hurdles.
Raja told cricket fans that he understood their anguish about the postponement of the matches.
He described the incident as an “unfortunate scenario,” saying, “It is a shared suffering and whatever transpired is not appropriate for Pakistani cricket.”
