Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GNL) appears to be moving closer to bringing Chery Motors to Pakistan. It has recently notified Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that Chery passenger vehicles will be available in Pakistan by June 2022.
The company is now engaged in numerous pre-launch activities and is trying to develop a strong dealership network, as well as modernizing its existing car production plant to locally assemble them, as per the notification.
The company has also released multiple promotional videos on its social media platforms for the Tiggo 4 SUV, Tiggo 7 SUV, Exceed TX SUV, and Arrizo 5 Sedan, depicting Chery vehicle owners as bright, youthful, and outgoing individuals, alluding to GNL’s target population.
The Chery vehicles would not make their debut in Pakistan until the end of the current fiscal year, according to GNL.
