The federal government has announced a minor reduction in the price of petrol, providing a small relief to consumers across Pakistan. The petrol price has been decreased by Rs. 0.43 per litre, bringing the new price down to Rs. 390.79 per litre.
The latest adjustment comes as fuel prices continue to remain a major concern for households, businesses, and transport operators across the country. While the reduction is relatively small, it is expected to slightly ease fuel expenses for motorists.
Under the latest revision, the price of petrol has been reduced by 43 paisa per litre. Following the adjustment, consumers will now pay Rs. 390.79 per litre for petrol.
The reduction is significantly smaller than the increases seen during previous fuel price revisions, when international oil market movements and other factors contributed to higher prices in Pakistan.
