Punjab has become the first polio-free province in the world after all environmental tests taken from sewerage water in several towns, including the provincial capital Lahore, came back negative.
Furthermore, CM Usman Buzdar stated that the provincial government has achieved great achievement as a result of Allah Almighty’s grace and teamwork. He praised the provincial health department and anti-polio teams for their efforts.
The chief minister stated that the anti-polio vaccination effort will be continued in order to immunise youngsters and prevent the disease from spreading to future generations.
