In the interbank market, the US dollar climbed to a new all-time high versus the Pakistani rupee.
The value of the greenback increased by 0.31 paisa in the interbank market today, closing at Rs176.79, according to foreign currency dealers.
The currency had ended the previous day 0.16 percent or 29 paisas stronger against the dollar after Pakistan received a $3 billion deposit from Saudi Arabia as part of a support package.
