For orphans, students with disabilities, and prisoners, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) waived the exam fee.
The news came during a meeting here presided over by FBISE chairman Qaisar Alam.
The meeting resolved that the board would not collect fees for the mark sheet issued in place of the lost one, and that provisional certificates would be supplied for free.
It also determined to take annual tests in May-June and November of next year, and that students who received 49.6 percent on board exams would be rewarded 50%.
