Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Punjab’s Health Minister, has pledged to give her organs after death, stating that saving a life is equivalent to saving mankind as a whole.
“I am making an announcement to donate all of my medically-fit organs after death,” she said at a news conference at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute, where parents of a kid on the ventilator declared that they will donate their child’s organs.
She stated that the parents had decided to give their child’s liver and kidney, which was a difficult decision for them to make as their child lay on the ventilator receiving his final breaths.
