According to Karachi Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Karachi is the safest city for sports in the globe and would be designated as a sports city during the PSL.
He made these remarks to reporters at the People’s Football Stadium Lyari, near the end of his visit to the District South and Kemari sports grounds. Shafqat Jilani, Assistant Commissioner Lyari Abdul Karim Memon, Assistant Commissioner Garden Imtiaz Mohsin, Sports Coordinator to Commissioner Karachi Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Sports Organizer Jamil Hot, Nasir Karim, Dost Muhammad Baloch, and others attended the event.
“I am personally going and checking all of the districts in order to make the playgrounds inhabited and functional by being aware of the problems and correcting them.”
