On March 4, 2022, Honda will finally debut the new 11th generation Civic sedan in Pakistan. The digital launch will be broadcast live on Honda’s official Facebook and YouTube pages.
The new Civic will also arrive in the United States within 11 months of its global premiere. The 11th generation Civic will be the most loaded and costly Civic generation ever built in Pakistan. The new Honda Civic will be available in three models, each powered by a 1.5L turbo engine.
Although official prices are yet to be published, the business has revealed preliminary pricing, which states that the base version would cost PKR 50.99 lakh, the Oriel will cost PKR 53.99 lac, and the flagship RS variation will cost PKR 61.49 lac.
The partial booking amount has been amended to PKR 1.1 million for the base and Oriel versions, and PKR 1.2 million for the RS version. The final pricing, however, are projected to be slightly more than the initial ones.
For the first time in Pakistan, the new Civic will also include luxurious amenities such as the Honda Sensing driver assistance system and a protective Laser Brazed top. The 11th generation Civic has already been released in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and it has received a 5-star ASEAN NCAP crash test rating.
The 11th generation Civic is doing well in the markets where it has been introduced. However, given the hefty price tag, whether it will be able to entice purchasers in our market, especially in the face of similarly priced competitors, remains to be seen.
