Armed Forces in collaboration with Audionic Pakistan Organising biggest Vintage Car Rally Event on Pakistan’s Day

Pakistan celebrates 23rd March every year with Great Spirit and enthusiasm. Every year on this day, the Armed Forces arrange a special event to give respect to this day. This 23rd March is no different as we will be witnessing the biggest Vintage Car Rally event organized by the Army in collaboration with Audionic- the Sound Master.

Audionic has always been a part of such celebrations whether it be Independence Day, Defense Day or Pakistan Day and has always proven to be the Brand of the Nation. Audionic being the giant in the sound industry of Pakistan has been given the honor of being recognized as The Sound of Pakistan and it settles for no less.

Audionic has took the responsibility to make this National Event a great success as it has done in the past with many other National Events. Audionic stands firm to contribute for this Nation not just by promoting National Events but also by uplifting the youth of this country and by contributing towards the growth of Pakistan.

The rally will take place at the dawn of 23rd March (7:00 Am), starting from Drig road, moving along the Shahr-e-Faysal road making its way towards the Moin khan Academy where it will conclude.

It is expected that about 150 Vintage cars will take part in this event making it the biggest Vintage Car Rally of the year. It has reportedly been told that the rally will host some of the most valuable cars with a historic value including the car that Quaid-E-Azam used.

Some of the most important cars at the rally will include:

  1. 1924 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost:

This car is almost a century old and has a Historical Importance as it was used by Founder of our Nation Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on 14 August 1947 on Independence Day and he rode in this car to take oath as the first Governor General of Pakistan along with Lord Louis Mountbatten.

  1. 1953 MG TD:

The MG TD is the third generation open two-seater sports car that was produced by MG from 1936 to 1955. This car is powered by 1250 cc Dual Carbureted Inline-Four Cylinder Engine mated to a Four Speed Manual Transmission. It has Two-Tone Yellow exterior and Caramel Interior. This MG TD has been in Karachi for most of its life in different states of form until the current owner acquired in 2021 and commissioned a full restoration with the help of Capt. Mansoor and Ovais Moto Works.

  1. 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (W121):

The 190 SL is two-door luxury roadster produced by Mercedes-Benz between May 1955 and February 1963. Internally referred to as W121. The 190 SL is powered by a 1900 cc Dual Carbureted Inline-Four Cylinder Engine mated to a Four Speed Manual Transmission. The car has an ivory White exterior and Red interior and has belonged to the current owner since 2015. This car was acquired in Netherlands where it resided until being brought to Karachi, Pakistan in 2020.

Audionic and the Armed forces have welcomed Pakistanis to take part in the Pakistan Day, Vintage Car Rally in Karachi and join them as they celebrate the courage and bravery of our four fathers and enjoy the fresh air of freedom bestowed upon us by them and the Almighty Allah.
