Pakistan’s NUST among top 200 universities in New international rankings.

Inspired by a strategy which is connected to the Sustainable development Goals (SDG’s), The National university of Science and Technology (NUST), has once again accomplished the significant success, with emerging in the list of top 200 universities in the world, as per the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2022.

According to the records, it was not just the top ranking achieved by the University amongst all the universities of Pakistan, but the also accomplished in leading in eight SDG’s. Including the Clean Water & Sanitation (SDG-6), Affordable & Clean Energy (SDG-7), Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure (SDG-9), Sustainable Cities & Communities (SDG-11), Responsible Consumption & Production (12), Life below Water (SDG-14), Life on Land (SDG-15), and Partnership for the Goals (SDG-17). It is significant to mention that
NUST has gained over 63 positions in SDG 7 to become the 4th ranking University in the World.

In the next year, NUST took a huge step ahead by taking role in THE Impact Rankings, for all 17 SDG’S, appearing amongst the top 100, top 200 and top 300 universities in the world, in a lot of categories of the SDG’S, and increasing the rankings in over 300 universities in the year 2019 to 200+ in 2020.

The persistence of the university, to standards of professionalism, is one of the forces that motivates the accomplishment of this huge success.
