The Punjab Police have a inaugurated, the tourism police in Murree in a very hilly area, and the very first batch of 150 skilled officers have started to serve the clients by today.( Saturday)
The Murree tourism police was being launched in the Lower Topa by the RPO of Rawalpindi Ashfaq Ahmed Khan and CPO Omer Saeed Malik, the-first-of-its-kind organisation was being inaugurated to prevent and secure the citizens and tourists, According to the local Media Reporters.
The Police stations of Patriata and Pahguari have been accomplished, and the Tourism Police will be directed and supervised by Kohsar Police, Female officers holding special skills, will also be dispatched to support the citizens.
According to the reports, the Force is being armed with the latest set of technology, and 4×4 Vehicles aswell.
Officers will have the proper advanced equipment, that would make them to be visible in a very low light aswell, and also in bad weather conditions.
Primarily, the tourism police officers will be positioned in Murree to support and help the tourists, throughout the peak season.
The Tourism Police will be staying at the tourists attractions in Kotli Sattian in the next phase.
