As per the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), the acoustic bird repellent system at the country’s airports will be installed to make sure safety of the flight.
At Karachi and Lahore airports, the system will be installed in order to avoid bird strikes.
The aviation regulator has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from famous companies and people having experience in wildlife management particularly at airports, to work out a feasibility report in this maater.
Furthermore, PCCA stated that this system will help decrease the incidents of bird strikes. The system will be installed at the main and secondary runways of both Karachi and Lahore airports.
