Pakistan earned an outright record in investments from Pakistanis living abroad in the first ten months of fiscal year 2021-22.
Pakistanis living abroad, who are citizens of EU countries, transferred more than $2.8 billion in investments in the first ten months (July-April) of fiscal year 2021-22, a figure that is 27.1 percent higher than the previous ten months.
Paksitan earned around $2.20 billion in investments at the corresponding time the previous year. The largest number of international Pakistanis in Europe is contained by the country of Italy, which is demonstrated by the amount of investment being collected.
From July 2021 to April 2022, the internationally living Pakistanis in Italy invested $701 million.
The amount has increased by more than 47 percent from the $295.8 million sent by Italian Pakistanis in the previous year.
The second-highest investment figures, $300 million, were being transferred from Greece, as per the details.
In comparison to the last fiscal year, investments transferred from Greece have been raised by 41%. Last year, Greece sent $215 million in investment to the United States.
Holland collected the third highest amount of remittances among European countries, with $50.2 million collected from July 2021 to April 2022, 30% more than the previous year.
Spain ranked fourth in terms of remittances invested within EU countries, with a total of $42 million, a 31 percent increase over the previous year. Â
