Shehroze Kashif, a mountain climber from Pakistan, recently created one more record by climbing Nanga Parbat, known to be the ninth-highest peak in the world and a component of Gilgit Baltistan.
Shehroze Kashif climbed to the top of Nanga Parbat, which is the ninth-highest mountain in the world, at 8:45 a.m. PST today. The 20-year-old mountaineer disclosed that Fazal Ali Shimhsali had also accompanied him on the ascent, through his official account on Facebook.
The Nanga Parbat was known to be the ‘Broad Boy’s’ eighth augmentation of an eight-thousander peak. He has climbed Mount Everest, K2, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Manaslu, and the Broad Peak. He also aims to climb each of the world’s 14 eight-thousanders.
A successful climber from Pakistan started to hike at the young age of 11, apparently. At age 12, he successfully climbed the Makra mountain, followed by the peaks of Musa Ka Massalah (4,080 metres) and Chembra (4,600 metres).
