Pakistan Army received an appreciation by Bill Gates, Co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for supporting national polio drive and have proper reach and coverage of polio campaign, specially with an involvement and corporation of community leaders, as per statement confirmation received by military.
As per ISPR, Bill Gates expressed such remarks during recent conversation on call with General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
Furthermore, the matters linked with healthcare specifically Pakistan’s commitment for comprehensive polio suppression was the topic of discussion.
Gates admired the Pakistan’s Army for being in support of polio drive and ensured proper reach and coverage of polio campaign, specifically with leader’s of community collaboration.
Furthermore, Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff appreciated Bill Gates, Microsoft founder and his efforts with regards to this highlighted cause and
assured him of continued full cooperation for polio-free Pakistan.
