Earlier today, a brand new hiking trail in Islamabad’s Margalla Hills has been inaugurated by the CDA’s (Capital Development Authority) Wing for hikers and visitors.
Today early morning (at 6’o clock AM), Trail 7 has been Officially Inaugurated which is linked with
C-12 and Kainthia, Alexander Well.
CDA Chairman, Capital Usman and Irfan Nawaz Memon, the DC for Islamabad were present for an opening.
After finishing an important rehabilitation work i.e installing maps, milestones, benches etc. CDA also re-inaugurated Trail 1 and Trail 2 in the Margalla Hills to hikers and tourist earlier this month.
However, Trail 6 in the Margalla Hills has witnessed a number of Asian leopards that have been spotted. The focus of Trail 6 in the Margalla Hills were the Asian Leopard Preservation Zone. It was introduced earlier in 2022 by the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board.
Moreover, a new park known as the Hill Park located on Third Road in Sector G-10/4, Islamabad. It was inaugurated in the first quarter of this year by the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority, Amir Ali Ahmed.
