After being defeated by Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022 due to which Afghanistan’s fan got angered and attacked on Pakistani spectators.
In a nail biting contest of Super Four stage match, Pakistan beat Afghanistan by one wicket and secured a position for final.
Naseem Shah’s two sixes from the first two balls of the last over helped Pakistan to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Pakistan won by 1 wicket which means that Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in the finals.
However, after being defeated Afghanistan’s fan lost control and started vandalism in the stadium.
The video of Afghanistan’s fan kept circulating on social media. It can be clearly seen that they attacked and threw chairs at Pakistani’s fan.
Before that, during the match Asif Ali Pakistan’s batsman and Fareed Ahmed Afghan bowler came face to face. However, umpire and other players ended the matter.
While on the other hand, Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar expressed anger upon such violent reaction of Afghanistan’s fan.
Shoaib Akhtar updated his Twitter, “this is what they’ve done in the past multiple times. This is a game and it’s supposed to be played and taken in the right spirit.”
