Recently, on a 2 day official visit to Pakistan, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon arrived in capital Islamabad.
On his arrival, the Minister for Commerce Naveed Qamar gave him the pleasure of receiving at Islamabad’s airport.
Representative of Foreign Office said, “the two sides will exchange views on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas. Islamabad and Dushanbe are set to ink a number of bilateral agreements and memorandum of agreements to boost ties.”
Tajikistan President would discuss regarding the firming cooperation in a wide range of areas.
The MoFA spokesperson said, “Rahmon’s visit to Pakistan is expected to impart a renewed impetus to deepening cooperation between the two sides and to strengthen the growing geo-economic partnership.”
He would be interacted for the second time with PM Shehbaz Sharif, the last time they met was during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.
