According to Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the World Bank will be involved in a government project to provide a monthly ration package of Rs. 60,000 to families with two or fewer children in an effort to promote family planning.
On Friday, Mr. Elahi, who was the primary guest at the University of Gujrat’s (7th) convocation, spoke to the students and promised that the Ehsas Program will reinvigorate the family planning industry, which had previously been neglected.
He claimed that the PML-N leadership would visit the nation and take money out of the country, claiming that the Shehbaz government had brought about a “tsunami of inflation and price hike” that had severely exposed Mr. Sharif.
