Sana Mir, Pakistan’s most renowned female cricketer, Misbahul Haq, Younis Khan, and Shahid Afridi are among the ten former international players who will be honoured by having the enclosures at the Bugti Stadium named in their honour, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Thursday.
Kiran Baluch, Mohammad Yousuf, Saeed Ajmal, Saqlain Mushtaq, Shoaib Khan, and Shoaib Malik are the other six cricketers.
The enclosures were given these names in honour of the cricketers’ contributions to Pakistani cricket, which also fits with the PCB’s aspirations to upgrade the Bugti Stadium’s spectator and playing areas in order to make it a more suitable location for hosting high-profile matches in the future.
