Kamran Akmal, a former wicket-keeper batsman for Peshawar Zalmi, re-joined the squad, but this time as a batting advisor for the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Pakistan Cricket Board recently hired Kamran Akmal as its head junior cricket selector (PCB).
In the past, Peshawar Zalmi’s coach Hashim Amla assisted the hitters, but on Tuesday, Darren Sammy also traveled to Pakistan.
Kamran Akmal led the Peshawar Zalmi in runs scored with 1972 in 75 matches over seven seasons from 2016 to 2022.
He is still the only batter in PSL history to have recorded three centuries.
